It’s easy to get lost when you’re talking about FFAK’s incredible body of work. Their discography includes 6 studio albums, with a 7th to be released in October 2022 as well as numerous EPs, singles, and music videos. So instead we’ll focus on a small handful of their albums, starting with their only full length album released while the band was independent.

Descendants is the debut album by FFAK and the only one to be released while they were still an independent band. IT was first released on September 23, 2011 and later rereleased on November 25, 2013 after the band signed on with Solid State Records. The album received largely favorable reviews with HM giving it a four out of five rating because of the high bar set by the band.

Their first album under Solid state Records was Creation | Destruction. This album was released on March 12, 2013 and won the band both critical acclaim and commercial success. In fact, Graeme Crawford of Cross Rhythms honored it with a rating of a perfect ten squares, writing that “On this form they deserve to be in the highest league of Christian metal bands”

Moving forward to more recent work, the band’s fifth album, Dark Skies, was released on September 14, 2018. The album received positive reviews with Carlos Zelaya from Dead Press! Stating that, “You pretty much know what you’ll get with Fit For A King, but Dark Skies is certainly the sign of a band that haven’t forgotten that the word ‘metalcore’ contains ‘metal’.”

And in a few short weeks at the time of writing, the band’s upcoming album, The Hell We Create, will drop. And some critics are already expecting chart topping success.
